Emily Quintanilha loves most sports. She is a senior at Norton High School. Her favorite sport to watch on television is hockey. Her love for the bruins is so intense that she plans on marrying one of the Bruins players one day. She is going to medical school to become a nurse for the Bruins. She has never received any injuries while playing any sports herself though. When she was younger she participated in dance, gymnastics, soccer, and most recently tennis. Soccer is her overall favorite sport to play if it came down to it in the end.
The best sporting moment she was involved in was her last gymnastics meet when she came in first place during eighth grade. Joy and sorrow was going through her head when she was competing in that last meet. She did not want to end her gymnastics career, but she stopped so she could play different sports in high school. The greatest number of points she has scored in a recreational soccer game is four goals. Her opinion on steroids is that they should not be allowed and should be destroyed unless it is for medicinal purposes only.
Lauren MacGray is a senior at Norton High School. She loves watching hockey on television and gets loud and rowdy during the game by cheering on her favorite players and yelling when the refs make bad calls. During her high school soccer career she received a sprained ankle, three broken toes, and she also hurt her knee badly. With the three broken toes, she fought through the pain and continued playing during the game and all the games after that. When she was younger she participated in dance, gymnastics, basketball and soccer. Her favorite sport to play by far is soccer.
The best sporting moment that she was apart of was when her and her soccer team made it to tournament her senior year against Holliston and tied them, getting one point closer to the championship. The greatest number of points scored in a travel soccer game was four goals. When asked what her opinion on steroids was she responded by saying how they give the player an unfair advantage and that they should not be in existence.
